After the disaster I have becaming more and more upset with the way some media are handling the crisis in Asia. I had prepared a website for me to let go of steam regarding media on other issues just a few weeks before, and now I got some use for it. One of the worst examples on this was done by the tabloid Expressen.

Sunday, December 26th, 2004Today I and my family was going to celebrate Christmas with my parents at their place about 10 miles south of Stockholm.
I started this day, as I usually do, with a quick news check-up on the Internet. Nothing much seemed to being happening. Found a short article with a simple illustration showing an earthquake in Asia. But as I was reading and checking other news sources the picture rapidly changed. And after about half an hour all major news sites where updated with the disaster. My local newspaper published pictures of a vasted Phuket, and I thought this would become a bad Christmas day.
